We wanted to spend a bit of time today showcasing and explaining what type of games our Arcade will be offering.
This list will do its best to detail each game and its gameplay as best as possible at the time. We’ll also provide pictures of the machines as they are in the game right now. Everything shown is work in progress.
With this we hope to give insight into the Arcade project and our goals.
Speaking of goals, we are aiming to have a very high quality Arcade unlike any other Arcades in games you’ve encountered before.
To achieve that goal:

Each machine will be networked (excluding some 2D games, which we’ll detail below). This means players will be able to watch other players playing their games. This is an incredible feat and will separate our Arcade from other arcade games.

Ping lag should not get in the way of the game.

Tower Unite’s Arcade will contain games that are inspired by real arcade games to the best of our abilities. This includes lights, sounds, and gameplay mechanics.

Authentic arcade sound effects. To achieve this @Will will be working on mixing the sounds for both when you are near the machines and when you are far from them.

Each machine will have an attract state, just like real arcades.

Each machine will give out tickets and there will be arcade only prizes.

Games will rely on skill. We’re doing away with rigged machines (unlike the real arcades).

Custom player animations for each machine.

Machines will be modeled with extreme care and detail.
Super Hoopers
A basketball game.

- You’ve got 30 seconds to get as many points as you can.
- Getting 30 points gives you 5 more seconds
- Getting 60 points or more gives you 50 more tickets
- Each hoop gives you 10 tickets
- Hoop moves backwards, forwards, and side to side
Dizzy
Prize redemption game.

- Stop the light at the jackpot light.
- Each play the lights will change speed to be faster or slower.

Newton’s Apples
