Hello everyone, and welcome to the Weekly Dev Log for June 28th, 2022, detailing all the changes that have happened since June 13th, 2022. Note: Devs that don’t appear in the weekly log are not necessarily away or not doing work, but may be working on things currently not announced or backend work that doesn’t need to be detailed.

Accessibility Suggestions

We’ve created a forum post asking the community for suggestions on how we can improve gameplay for players with certain conditions such as colorblindness, dyslexia, or anything else that might affect a players ability to use the standard presentation and controls of the game.

June 2022 Condo Contest IN PROGRESS!

Hey everyone!

It’s time for another Condo Contest. The objective for this contest is to make an area for a media player!

Whether it’s a drive-in, a cozy living room, a theater, or a TV floating in space- your entry just needs to be a cool spot to hang out and use a media player.

The deadline to submit entries is July 10th, 2022 at 11:59 PM CT.

First prize wins 2,000,000 units!

Everything looking good eh, also new Virus map :eyes: looking forward to it.


Yo these trees look super nice–Hinderance trees as a condo item when. Actually, speaking of items, @Nuclearxpotato really be popping off with the doors, rocks, canvases and such. Seeing the spreadsheet get bulked up with non-appearance items the last couple weeks has been epic.

Also–for the seat volume–would it be possible to get an offset for that? Like having the area you press E on to sit be able to be separate from where your character goes?

Altar and Hinderance look very cool so far, I especially like the big trees in Altar that are absolutely a real type of tree but I do not know their name. Very excited for the new rocks too since I’ve been stuck using the same like 5 weathered rocks for several years. I hope we can get a list of the new sounds and condo materials soon

The design of the Altar map is so similar to a location in an older game that it makes me wonder if it’s just a coincidence, or if someone on the art team used to be a Thereian. :thinking:

Either way, it brings back some fond memories.
