Accessibility Suggestions

We’ve created a forum post asking the community for suggestions on how we can improve gameplay for players with certain conditions such as colorblindness, dyslexia, or anything else that might affect a players ability to use the standard presentation and controls of the game.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, and possible solutions on how to solve a particular issue, please check out the forum post here.

We have been working hard on the “connectivity surprise”. We’re hoping to have it ready for release sometime this week.

We plan to have a live stream Tuesday showing off the “connectivity surprise” that we’ve been hard at work on. We’ll be going over what this surprise is and how it changes the game. This surprise has been a culmination of a lot of work and passion and we’re excited to show it off!

You can follow along with the progress of this next update, including a list of everything planned to be in this next update here.

@Johanna continued working on the “connectivity surprise”. She also continued working on art for a Virus map @Lifeless designed.

@JJosh finished working on Valentine’s Day items (which unfortunately will come out after Valentine’s Day due to the connectivity surprise update), as well as continued working on the various Plaza NPCs.

@Lifeless continued working on Minigolf: Dark and Zombie Massacre: Acrophobia.

@macdguy continued working on the “connectivity surprise”. He also worked on an overhaul to the Condo Tools, combining all of the tools into a singular tool, now called the “Tower Glove”.

@Madmijk continued working on the condo instruments, and worked on fixing a few bugs with “Captain Calypso’s Planetary Piano”.

@Sketchman continued working on backend improvements and optimizations. He also continued working on the “connectivity surprise”.

@Wheezwer continued working on the “connectivity surprise”.

@Will continued working on the “connectivity surprise”, while also making sounds for the instruments that @Madmijk is working on.

Condo: Tower Glove (Copycat Tool mode)

Each tool will have its own unique screen with various information about what the tool is doing. For example, the Copycat mode will display a preview of the item and attributes the item has (color, scale, etc.).

!!! no WAY!!!

An industrial map with catwalks for Virus sounds like a lot of fun to play on, can’t wait!

Wasn’t there an unreleased GMT Virus Map called “Sewage Treatment” that took place in Acid sewers? Is this the TU-ification of that idea?

There was a released one called Sewage but the new map isn’t that

Thank you supportive canvas cube for believing in me.

I’m starting to think that the “connectivity surprise” might be a lobby area to replace the main menu. I mean, they’re practically all working on it, so its gotta be something big and really the only thing that would need coding, art, and music, would be a new area. Either that or maybe the subway will now take us the different servers. Or possibly a combination of the two.

VIRUS MAP! Also the screen on the Tower Glove looks so cool. All this is sounding fantastic! Can’t wait to see the stream tomorrow!
