Devs bought actual trash and won’t let us use most of it. ;-;
You can stun store NPCs (provided that you can attack them).
You can also use flamethrowers and melee attacks
Throwing throwable units at NPCs will make an eating sound
The cookies and milk have once again been eaten, although last time we didn’t get to see a picture of what the note said, so here it is.
Im also a little confused about the content of the note, it says “Santa Claus” but he was eaten long ago by the giant crab who then became the new santa, so in reality the note should say “Santa Claws” since that’s his name.
Here’s the reference post i was working on so very long ago.
While perusing the arcade shop (way back in the middle of April) i noticed that the jet engine jetpacks price was 74,700, which appears to be a reference to the Boeing 747 air plane, so i decided to take a quick look around the shop and started seeing a lot more references, the items, their prices and item descriptions had references in them.
So i decided to try and find all the references i knew about in the arcade shop, plus a few other neat things that was tugged away in the shop.
Sidenote: According to the developers some of these references are purely accidental, it’s unknown exactly which ones are accidental and which ones are intended because they are too busy with developing the game to tell me. stupid devs why do we even have them if they’re too busy with making a good game to tell us about random unimportant stuff
References:
“Astronaut Helmet”
The description of the item “One small step for man.” is part of a quote that was said by Neil Alden Armstrong during the moon landing,
The full quote goes: That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
The price of the item (19,690) is a reference to the year 1969 which is the year in which the moon landing occured.
“Bert Gun”
A parody of the Nerf gun brand which is owned by Hasbro, the design of the Bert Gun most closely resemble the N-Strike Maverick REV-6
The description “It’s Bert or Buthing.” is a parody of the slogan “It’s Nerf or Nothin’!”
Brain Sucker"
Based on the name and design of this item it is possible that this item is a reference to the “Brain Slug” from Futurama, the only difference in the designs is that the Brain Slug only has one eye.
“Dancing Banana”
A “character” from a flash animation which was released at some point back in the early 2000’s.
The description “Peanut butter jelly” is a reference to the song named “Peanut Butter Jelly Time” which was used in the animation, said song was made by a band called “Buckwheat Boyz”.

There’s also an animation that has been made for said song.
“Faithful Cucumber Plush”
The plushie is based on a character called “Larry the Cucumber” from a franchise called “VeggieTales”, which is a series of children’s books, television shows, DVDs, games and other stuff.
The plush has a book titled “GOD’S GOURDS” because VeggieTales is a Christian franchise that retell stories from the Bible.
“Fancy Ghost Plush”
This item is a reference to the fancy ghost that you had a chance of respawning as when you died in UCH back in GMTower
Did you expect something else?
“Fiddlewhirl”
A parody of the very trendy “Fidget Spinner” toys.
It spins.
A lot.
Seriously that’s it.
Stop looking there’s nothing else
“Frog Plush”
The item description “Crosses roads better than a chicken can.” is a reference to the game “Frogger” which was released in 1981, in this game you had to cross a street and a river while avoiding being run over by a vehicle or drowning in the river.
“Headset”
The item price of the headset (9001) is a reference to the internet meme “It’s Over 9000!”.
The meme itself originates from a scene in Dragon Ball Z in which someone screams “It’s over 9000!”, possibly because of a translation error.
“Jet Engine Jetpack”
As previously mentioned earlier in this post, the item price of the jetpack (74,700) is a reference to the Boeing 747 jet aircraft.

This item is a reference to the lightsaber weapon from the popular Star Wars franchise.
Although the reference to the lightsaber is (most likely) from Star Wars the concept of a lightsaber has been seen multiple times in litterature starting in 1943 in Fritz Leiber’s novel “Gather, Darkness”
“Lucky Catsack”
The Lucky Catsacks (which doesn’t quite look like a catsack) is based on the japanese figures known as “Beckoning cat”, the figuriness have different meanings depending on their color, pose and symbols.
The Lucky Catsack in the store symbolises the following:
White cat: Happiness, purity and positive outcomes
Left Paw raised: Invites customers
Gold coin: Wealth and material abundance
Bell: Treasure, both material and non-material
This interpretation of what the Lucky Catsack means might not be accurate as the multiple sources i found claim different meanings for the same colors and symbols
“Mushroom Plush”
The item description “A plumber’s favorite snack.” is referencing that the mushroom is a power-up that is often “consumed” by Mario and Luigi in the Super Mario series.
Disregarding the legs the mushroom plushy looks similar to the mushroom power up in “Super Mario Bros. 2” and “Super Mario Kart”.
“Obnoxious Citrus Plush”
The item is a reference to a character called “The Annoying Orange” which constantly appeared in a video series on Youtube called “The Annoying Orange” as the main character.

The item description “Slower than a tortoise.” is a reference to the book “The Tortoise and the Hare” that was written by a man named Aesop, the book is about a tortoise and a hare, the tortoise got mocked by the hare for being slow and decided to challenge the hare to a race to prove that it can get anywhere faster than the hare thinks it can.
The moral that this fable teaches has been widely open to interpretation.
“RC Toy Rocket”
The item description “Houston, we have liftoff!” is a non existant quote.
According to NASA’s own information archives this line hasn’t been said in any entry on the audio galleries or flight journals.
It’s possible that the quote in the description is a combination of two different ones, the first part being from the line “Ok, Houston, we’ve had a problem here.” which was said during the Apollo 13 mission when the crew encountered an electrical problem.
And the second part of the quote would be from the line “Liftoff! We have a liftoff” which was said by mission control when the Apollo 11 rocket launched.
“Royal Guard Plush”
The plushy is designed to look like the British royal guard, this royal guard is called the “Queen’s Foot Guard”.

But they are allowed to march forward and back every 10 minutes
“Sack-Cat”
The item is a parody of the character called “Sackboy” which appears in the “LittleBigPlanet” game series.
“Sci-Fi Visor”

“Strawberry Plush”
The item description “You’re a stupid little baby man.” is a quote from the flash animation “The Evil Strawberry” which was released on Albino Blacksheep.
The item is a character that appeared in said flash animation.
“Turtle Shell”
The green turtle shell is most definitely a reference to the “Koopa Troopa” enemy which first appeared in the game “Super Mario Bros” in the year 1985.
The price of this item is the exact same as the Spiked Turtle Shell.
“Wearable Dollar Sign”
The item description “Dolla dolla bill, ya’ll!” is a song lyric from a song called “C.R.E.A.M”, which was sung by the Wu-Tang Clan.
The symbol on the necklace is the symbol of some weird made up currency from some obscure video game. Obvious joke

A joke version of the Vuvuzela instrument, the Wowozela was originally made as an addon for Garry’s Mod by a user called CapsAdmin.
“Zeeky H. Bomb Plush”
The plushy is a character that appears in the video titled “The Demented Cartoon Movie”.
At the time of writting there’s also a couple of unfinished items which also references stuff, these unfinished items were found on the arcade shelves and some of their info was found in the game files.
- Unreleased Items
“Antique Telescope”
The price of the item (16,080) is a reference to the year 1608 which is the year when a Dutchman named Hans Lipperhey submitted the patent for the first design of the kijker (the Dutch word for looker).
“Lolaroid”
This item is a parody of the old Polaroid instant cameras which were sold by the Polaroid Corporation.
The specific camera that is being parodied is the Polaroid Land Camera 1000.
“Line-Up-4”
This item is a parody of the “Connect Four” board game which was originally sold by Milton Bradley.
“Prince Hat”
This hat is the same hat as the one that was worn by the musician called Prince.
There were some possible references or parts that i decided not to add to the post because it seemed like they were either not relevant, actually referencing something or too open to interpretation.
Although they are in the following section in case you want to see them.
- Rejected Stuff
“Antique Telescope”
The item description “Bring out your inner Galileo.” is referencing that Galileo Galilei quickly began building his own telescope after learning about the invention.
“Apple Plush”
The item description “This little fella will keep those doctors away.” is a reference to the old proverb “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
“Crab Plush”
The description “Feeling crabby?” might be an accidental reference to the name of a quest in World of Warcaft, this is the only reference that the devs had time to tell me wasn’t intended by them.
“Karate Bandana”
The item description “Nothing will ever bring you down.” is a reference to the song “You’re the Best” which appeared in the “Karate Kid” movie.
In the song the actual lyric is “Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down”.
“Little Crusaders Dragon Plush”
This plushy is the giant dragon that appears in the Little Crusaders gamemode.
In retrospect im honestly not sure why i even made this entry
“Lolaroid”
The item description “Instantly develops!” is a reference to the fact that the Polaroid cameras were capable of printing out photos that were able to develop themselves, the picture on the photos became visible after a short period of time.
“Retro Disco Ball”
The item description “Disco is stayin’ alive.” is a reference to the disco song “Stayin’ Alive” by Bee Gees which first appeared in “Saturday Night Fever”
“Small Radio”
The Small Radio has a similar design to the counter strike radio prop, said prop could be bought as a furniture item in GMTower.
“Wearable Unit Sign”
The symbol attached to the chain resembles the currency symbol “Units” in Tower Unite.
you can also be the fancy ghost if you die as a count in TU, I think
A lot of the ticket prices are references.
Nice finds
yea, but i think instead of a wine glass it’s now a chalice, so it’s just referencing the mother 3 osohe ghosts [a.k.a the UCH ghosts]
If you use the Barcode Scanner on pets, it’ll show you their trait!
May have been posted already, but the top 5 ranks for Zombie Massacre are references to certain Zombie Killing (and one that kills aliens for some reason) Badasses.
Frank West (I assume), Jill Valentine, Daryl Nixon, Ashley J. Williams, and Ellen Ripley (From Dead Rising, Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Evil Dead and Alien/s Respectively)
Let me be Frank with you…
It’s already been mentioned. It’s a Daryl shame too. Don’t be Ash-amed of your repost. We Jill all repost at one point or another.
Apparently, the Obnoxious Citrus plush is based off of this image of Michael Rosen’s face, found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Rosen#Since_1990
(Not sure who found this out first, but I got it from Nath)
I have snoop around the Halloween 2021 update and I found some stuff that are interesting.
The Mysteries door in the Chainsaw arena minigame have gone missing,
It suppose to be on the top right but its gone, and the pipes to climb on just clips into the player.
Another Mysteries thing is the island, the monorails to the island have been gone too,
It maybe because of the Monorail Reimplementation being in the works but I have no idea, and also there’s a blue light in the ocean from the right of the island (idk if this is just a bug but its interesting).
I believe this has been gone for a while now. I might be wrong about the door though, but I know the pipes have had no collisions for at least a month or two now.
I knew it reminded me of someone!
Im surprised no one else seems to have noticed this one yet.
So the Fantasy Viewer item in the arcade actually has some text written on it, sadly its nearly impossible to read what it says since its just a part of one of the mask textures.
luckily through a combination of asset viewers and TU files before they were combined into one pak i was able to get a proper look at what the text said:
- Pictures will steal your soul
- Crank might hurt your finger
- If you share with other people you will get pink eye
- Someone will put disgusting things on the reel
- For the love of gosh dont look through this…
