As someone who has been using Libretro and Retroarch for a while already, I’d like to say that this update is very based.
I’m going to give it a try as soon as I can and report if I find any issues that haven’t been mentioned already.

Hm would libretro & the game allow you too launch multiple instances of say mame ?
Could perhaps network together cabinets then for stuff around the 1990’s that supports networking multiple cabinets together for multiplayer, like say Sega Rally Championship with 2 - 4 players, dunno how it would work for players outside of the host but could look cool having 4 machines running the attract mode in the background I’d imagine.
Maybe that would just require launching libretro or just mame more then once too work within the game for mame in multiplayer, that you have some button too open & close another instance of it in the condo itself.
DOS Box currently doesn’t have keyboard input support right now. I’m working on resolving this.
hey so, this is amazing???
like, i’m so happy! I did NOT excpect this to be in TU AT, ALL!!
Very well done! Me and my friends are having a blast just sitting in a circle with the tv on and playing games on our new handhelds. Thanks!
so to note for anyone wondering about ps2 games if the game is over 2 gigabytes it has a 50/50 chance of not working at all so do keep this in mind and what i mean not working as i mean its like its in slow motion
Flycast (Naomi) can support Naomi2 ?
HELP! Does anyone know if there is a way to export your “states” from your game in Tower as runnable states in the base emulators?
For context, I’ve just sat down in the plaza and booted up my Pokemon Diamond. I’ve not reached the catching tutorial yet so I have NO pokeballs and I just bumped into a shiny bidoof.
I am running the rom through desmume on tower.
I’ve looked through the savestates folder that tower creates, however the “save state” that is created is a .nds file which is a rom file. I tried running that rom file anyways and get the error:
The ROM header is invalid.
The device size has been increased to allow for the provided file size
and then:
Sorry… right now, you can’t use the default (stream rom from disk) with homebrew due to a bug with DLDI-autopatching
and then desmume crashes.
Am I looking in the wrong place for these save states??
The cores and assets are not distributed with the Tower application. They are downloaded from LibRetro’s build server using PixelTail’s own ‘Tower Unite Libretro Core Downloader’ (TURACDL) application included alongside the game.
I believe the version we are using doesn’t have Naomi2 support yet.
How do I select a rom from the GameStation? When I use it, I get a notice that no rom is selected bit I don’t get the popup to select a rom
Press R to open the ROM selection menu
thanks
Is there any possibility for adjusting zoom while using consoles in your condo? With some TVs the camera is so far away it’s nearly unplayable.
Unless this already exists and I just couldn’t figure it out?
I think something’s wrong with Virtual Jaguar. I tried Tempest 2000 on it (and I tried .j64 files from multiple sources) and it runs, well even, except for the sound. It slows down and/or gets jumbled very often. Something to look into, I think.
Edit: I should also add that I first tried using a .jag file, and that just crashed the game.
one thing I have problem is the scaling of games some games will have a perfect fit with the TV’s in the condos and games like silent hill and Gregory’s horror show doesn’t in silent hill you cant see the new game option along with the other settings
Edit: I’ve realized some titles on the ps2 has some audio issues when running them
PLEASE make the screens on the arcade cabinets 4:3 instead of 4:4 like they currently are. It’s driving me nuts!
Naomi tested it perfect i’m waiting for support Naomi2
Is there any way to allow certain emulators to be able to access my local internet? I got melonds to load without crashing after ending emulation but it has a chance of crashing when internet settings is loaded by the emulator. When it does work it allows me in but is unable to connect to my server that I use to connect to custom fan servers for games like mario kart ds
Any chance I could discuss some stuff about how the emulators work mac? I got the updated citra core to run in game but I can’t get any of the core settings I entered in with retroarch to work inside of tower unite and was wondering if I messed something up or if it is something with how tower handles the configurations
