Workshop playermodel constantly resets

I’ve been having this issue as I’ve started playing again. Every time I wear a workshop skin and change to a new game or a lobby, it resets to the default model and I have to reapply my workshop skin. It makes using anything like that in a game lobby.

Things I have tried so far:

-Reinstalling the game
-Clearing the Workshop cache
-Verifying integrity through Steam
-Deleting the Workshop folder in the game folder

This was happening to my friend when they started. Someone told me by customizing the default skin from albino female to anything else (ex: change to a different base model like male-suit or skeleton and adjust colors) it’ll fix it. After doing so workshop model didn’t reset Everytime we switched lobbies or respawned.

Worked for us, hopefully works for you too. Have you tried this?
