Hello everyone, and welcome to the Weekly Dev Log for May 2nd, 2022, detailing all the changes that have happened since April 25th, 2022. Note: Devs that don’t appear in the weekly log are not necessarily away or not doing work, but may be working on things currently not announced or backend work that doesn’t need to be detailed.

Accessibility Suggestions

We’ve created a forum post asking the community for suggestions on how we can improve gameplay for players with certain conditions such as colorblindness, dyslexia, or anything else that might affect a players ability to use the standard presentation and controls of the game.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, and possible solutions on how to solve a particular issue, please check out the forum post here.

Update 0.15.1.1

We’re continuing to work on the 0.15.1.1 update, which fixes a bunch of bug fixes and crash fixes, as well as some minor changes.

Casino: Phase 2

Work continues on the next phase of the Casino.

@Johanna continued working on the art overhaul for the Casino, while also working on new signs for the new Casino machines.

@macdguy worked on Roulette, finishing up the rules, betting system, bet calculations, and the bet selection UI.

@Sketchman worked on Roulette, working on the ball animations.

@Wheezwer worked on horses for the house racing machine, while also helping with brainstorming ideas for the Casino art pass.

Miscellany

@macdguy worked on various bug fixes for Update 0.15.1.1.

@joshua continued working on various items and third party plushes.

@Madmijk continued working on the Condo instruments, working on adding a bunch of sound samples.

@Sketchman continued working on backend improvements and optimizations.

@Will continued working on music for SDNL.

overall payout percentage should be increased a bit.
36-to-1 rather than 35-to-1 on straight; 36.5-to-1 on 0 or double-0s.
return all losing bets in half for hitting either 0s.

Yea I’m kind of curious where that worry came from in this dev log, honestly. I wouldn’t call any of the textures used on the roulette table (over)saturated and it doesn’t look at all out of place from anything the devs have added since going with the new art style
