Unable to get on tower unite anymore

Before the release of the game on steam now, I was able to play the alpha and it was alot of fun. But now i’m unable to because I keep getting the message

Error

The following component(s) are required to run this program:

Microsoft visual C++ 2015 runtime.

Keep in mind I went to the site and downloaded this and newest and oldest. but all failed as it keeps saying I already have it on my computer and I’m getting rather annoyed as I spent to kickstart this and I’m having pretty bad issues that no one else is either having, or don’t know how to fix.

So please can someone help me?

You should try reading through all the posts here, as this person managed to fix their issue.

Welp…seems like I won’t be able to play it…as there is a thing about my windows that dosen’t exactly make it proper. So…if I tried updating I can say goodbye to my windows.Thanks anyway…sucks I can’t join in after spending $20 for kickstarter and another $20 when gmod tower was a thing.

Have you reinstalled or verified cache?
Are you opted in to a beta accidentally?

I reinstalled and verified cache still failed and I think so as I did get the alpha as I put in $20 dollars for kick starter for this.

I know this is a long shot and I mentioned it earlier but double check you’re not on a outdated beta.

Also with Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, make sure you’re downloading the right version for your PC (so if you’re 64 bit get the 64 bit version). Also try an uninstalling then installing it again to see if that fixes it.

If none of this works, I’m not sure… Maybe your antivirus is blocking it or maybe you just have some weird obscure issue.
