Transaction in progress buying accessories

Transaction in progress when attempting to buy paper crown from Appearance → Accessories → Hat both from main login screen and while logged in and at plaza. Tower express doesn’t offer accessories so can’t buy from there either as a workaround.

Expected outcome: Hat purchases, becomes available to equip from accessories menu.

What happened: game stays stuck at ‘Transaction in progress…’
