Tower Unite will not launch after recent update

Hello, I’m currently on an older Radeon GPU (RX Vega 56) and am looking to upgrade soon, however, I have encountered an error on tower unite that I believe is related to my GPU, and will not allow me to start on both DirectX 10 or 11 modes.

Attached is the crash log I got from the -log launch parameter. I hope there is some information you all can get from that. I have not overclocked, nor undervolted my card at all, and am running Adrenaline version 24.9.1 (latest drivers).

This is on Windows, and is not an error on behalf of Valve’s Proton compatibility layer.

Hmm… can you try this just in case?

Right click the game in your Steam library and select Properties

Select [Installed Files] in there and pick [Verify integrity of game files]

Sometimes corrupted files can prevent someone from launching their game and could need to re-download the game so hopefully this helps ; _ ;

This issue should now be resolved. We just put a patch out for it.

Updated my game, but yet my game still crashes. I submitted a crash dump.

The latest patch fixed it for me, try running the UAC popup when prompted, so you can reinstall the Microsoft redistributables.

Never got them to pop up. I reinstalled the game, along with the steam redistributables with no luck.

You’ll need VS 2022 Redistributables. If they are not installing though Steam, you’ll have to manually do it through Microsoft’s website.

Strange, that didn’t seem to work either. I restarted my PC and all after installing.

Update: Got it to work, the redistributables didn’t install properly oddly enough. Game is now functioning properly.
