By default when you bleed in the Plaza, the Condo, SDNL, and Zombie Massacre, and wherever else, you bleed red. That’s basically it. When you die violently, you leave behind fleshy giblets.
In the interest of self-stylizing however, one could always go one step deeper and customize what’s on the inside. I did see a topic in 2023 in SDNL Beta that suggested something similar, but I’d assume blood and gore applied to pretty much more than just SDNL, and I also wanted to take it a step further.
Like the above topic suggests, you can customize the color of your blood and gore, and whether or not it should have organs, skulls, bones, or blood involved.
But in addition to that, you can customize your self’s “gore type” either through buying it at a store or something else. You can forego flesh entirely and go out with different type of gibs that are an alternate organic kind, or something completely inorganic.
Examples:
Milk
I mean, we got milk carton people. Maybe this is how skeletons can bleed too.
Bones
Skeletons still got marrow to bleed, even if they don’t have blood. Could be bone fractures or something.
Slime
Maybe a different texture and gibs to make it obvious from blood. Possibly something similar to the slime cubes you can wear and use as physics.
Silly Gibs
Basically similar to a certain game’s silly censorship, but intentionally applied via customization. Could be whatever junk you wanna add when someone goes out in a blaze of gibs.
Gears
Also like above, but basically only gears, for those who want to go out like a robot would.
Damaged Circuits
Another robotic way of death.
Fluff
You literally are just a big softie inside.
Candy
Go out like a pinata.
Confetti
Make your death a party. Could have it make party sounds when you die too, instead of the usual blood gushing sound.
Rainbow Blood/Gore
Something similar to the rainbow effect of the decals left behind by thrown anniversary cake.
Some other ideas are possible, and obviously this shouldn’t intercept against those who have blood/gore turned off. Although, those who are using that feature could possibly benefit from additional options like “silly gib mode” for all blood and gore for instance.
