blockdude’s skin just wont change, i bought it cuz i wanted to be able to use my minecraft skin, but the thing is not working with any username or link, please help
When inputting your name, did you use capital letters? Minecraft names are case sensitive; ie GameDev will work, gamedev wont.
i typed my name as its in minecraft, it works in singleplayer… and maybe other servers, i havent checked, but it doesnt work in GMTower
Just tried it myself, it appears that parsing Minecraft skins is currently broken. I’m not quite sure if Foohy is able to fix it at the moment.

so what they have to do is change that thing in the playermodel?
It’s likely in the lua somewhere. All they need to do is update the url and it should be fine.

I can patch this for GMTower, but not for the separate Workshop addon.

I think the skin gets cached in single player.

It downloads the most recent skin so you don’t have to redownload it each time you play.

Because they do not have the space to cache every skin on their side.

Yeah, it works fine in the workshop addon, just not in GMod Tower.
