Minecraft Skin Issues

I’ll patch it tomorrow.

Thank god this is finally being addressed. My post on the GMT forums went completely unanswered so I just stopped trying and assumed it was just going to be a waste of credits.

thank you so much, and im honestly sorry for making you lose your time with this

but if you can, please let us know when u have done it

just curious, you havent done it yet, have you?

Crap. I apologize. I submitted it yesterday but I forgot to apply it to the servers.

I’m applying it right now.

Does the skin only take certain file types? I’ve tried repeatedly to get it to change from the Steve skin to my skin, but it either says nothing and doesn’t update the skin, or says in chat that the requested skin was invalid. I’m using a .PNG file as my skin, does it need to be something else? Does it have to be in the old template style or the new one with the jacket options and all that?

On GMT, you just type your Minecraft username and it should automatically grab the skin. You don’t need to link to a picture.
For the single player version… Yes, you can use .PNG files.

If you use the new template, it’ll treat it like the old one. Skins using the Alex model won’t work properly, but ones using the Steve model should work.

Mac! I felt like if i was putting pressure on you! Im sorry!

you have probably already done it, well… then… it is my internet connectoin, i just cant see minecraft skins… just steve…

I can confirm that the issue is still not fixed, even though it is indeed using the new skin URL.

Skin ('data:text/html,<html><img src='http://skins.minecraft.net/MinecraftSkins/Bloatzel.png' /></html>') does not exist!

Singleplayer/addon version works fine, it’s just broken in GMT.

@macdguy so uh… the thing hasnt been fixed… U.U
