Monorail Seats to be purchasable and placeable in Condos

Condo light source: Tōrō Lanterns
Here’s an in-game example using a Workshop Item as a substitute:-
I’d sooner not rely on loads of Workshop Items to achieve this though, as it would understandably increase load times.
PS. These would be nice too.
I have returned with new condo item suggestions. This post features suggestions for the Toy Stop, Rob’s Imports, and Central Circuit.
Wonder Wheel
A prize spinner that is usually seen at fairground attractions. Walk up to it, press “E” and watch it spin! In the condo, people can edit this item in a variety of ways such as:
Changing the number/color of “slices” on the wheel.
Adjusting the height of the stand.
Changing the diameter of the wheel.
Adding an optional wooden arrow that spins in the opposite direction of the wheel, like the one in this picture.
Solar System Toy
Rocking Horse
Art Supplies
For the purpose of decoration, a variety of packaged art supplies can be placed in the condo, such as markers, chalk, crayons, paint containers, and watercolors.
Miniature Railroad Train
Ring Tower 2
Road Signs
Cassette Player
Includes interactive buttons, and an openable cassette holder.
Microscope
Balance Scale
Store Description: “Perfectly balanced, as all things should be”.
EDIT: I forgot to add these.
Gumball Machine 2
Volleyball
Nuetella has suggested a crane before, I think that these two from Acrophobia would be cool to have.
The Casino milestone Spin-to-Win Home Edition fulfils this role
I mentioned that.
My bad, I skimmed your post too quickly.
But if you made that a Toy Shop item, it would render the Spin-to-Win Home Edition obsolete. So they would have to come up with something else to fill the void for that specific Casino milestone.
Imo the spin to win milestone being the actual spin to win model is enough of a perk on its own to have as a milestone, a spinning wheel is a general concept that can be used in a large amount of contexts and shouldn’t be limited to one item that requires hours of grinding a game not everyone will enjoy to obtain
Honestly agree with this and also I think we have a bunch of game oriented items we can add and then use for Condo IO in the future.
Pyramid Corners:
Wedge Corners:
Useful primitive additions would be corner objects. Right now the only way I’ve found to make those corners is to use a pyramid 2x the size of its connected wedges. However for some reason they appear darker than wedges on default colour (even when not in contact with other objects, so they’re not darkened due to being majorly occluded), have duplicate textures overlaying each other when using World Align (top-down + sides) and their texture in WA doesn’t merge with overlapping wedges so you get z-fighting.
Pyramid problem, this would be avoidable if we could use pyramid corners & wedge corners. (wedge corners would apply to the building’s rooftop in the back, as you can see that one uses pyramids rotated 45 degrees)
Add better texture control to fix situations where wedges and other angled surfaces receive the wrong texture orientation (All wedges here forced to receive top-down projection in WA instead of being able to use side projections, so right/left wedges have sideways textures, top wedge is upside down, using local textures (turning off WA) gives every wedge sideways textures).
Independent X-Y texture scaling with two sliders when not using World Align.
Pyramids have wrong brightness, almost as iff they’re halfway between a wedge’s fullbright appearance and a cube’s dark occluded side. Texturews on World Align are also applied/overlayed twice, receiving both the top-down projection & their respective sides https://i.imgur.com/INnmD9E.png
So in short: Add an object variation to Pyramids & Wedges (Corner) or standalone primitives, fix pyramids, advanced texture controls in container above.
Canvas Toilet
The golf hole item from Accelerate would be a great teleporter item for condos. It has a pretty convincing depth effect so you could easily place it down on a golf course and it’d save a lot of time from having to carve out a hole in the ground manually (admittedly this is much easier now thanks to canvas tubes, but still).
Items like that are planned to be part of the map SDK feature set.
Transdimensional Book (Teleporter)
Description: At first glance appears to be an ordinary book, yet one of the pages seemingly has a magically animated picture panel embedded in it. You feel compelled to touch it.
Rough concept combining existing items:
Idea source:
When the store is released, we plan to add those items.
Ability to toggle the stand/legs on the “Keyboard” playable piano, like the ones on the wall at Songbirds (I’ve suggested this once before).
Ability to transpose up or down on the Playable Pianos. This sounds like it could be a bit complicated to implement, but I’ve seen it being done in other places, and would greatly help people who will be still using QWERTY after MIDI support is added.
Normal, string lights, that aren’t Christmas themed/able to set custom color.
Also having the little candles inside as a standalone item would be nice.
