I got a chat ban because of my Steam usernam

I have been using the same username for 1 year and have never been banned until now. I didn’t change my username, thinking that if nothing had happened so far, nothing would happen from now on. And suddenly I got a chat ban. It’s not something I did on purpose. What steps should I follow to remove the chat ban?

As for usernames, the rules for those are:

Usernames & avatars, including Steam, follow the same rules as our in-game chat. If your username or avatar breaks any of the above rules, you will get banned from in-game chat.
