Is there a way I can recover it?
(Insert joke about deleting an actual home here.)
Did you delete it in-game or delete the files? If you deleted the files, you should be able to recover them from the recycling bin. If from in-game, then I don’t know of any way to recover the condo.
I don’t know if there is a way to recover it.
I deleted it in-game.
Tell me, how did you deleted it?
I deleted it through the C menu.
Do you have saved layout?
You could try using data recovery programs to regain deleted files off your hard drive. There’s a few free trial ones out there that let you recover enough memory to restore the deleted file.
Reason it works is because “deleted” data stored in its section of your hard drive isn’t actually overwritten just then- the location of where the data is is marked as available, though. As long as you can copy the leftover data before part of it is overwritten, it’s possible to recover data on a hard drive using cheap software. It is still possible to recover data after its been overwritten, but that requires physical equipment that measures the electromagnetivity of the hard drive.
As always, be careful what you download off the Internet…
What are the condo save files called? I have a data recovery program, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to be finding.
I would not go this way
Condo would be proably corrupted anyway
I’m not sure why it would be corrupted.
watch this
Well, there is a chance that it isn’t. I shouldn’t stop trying to do something because I think it’s corrupted.
You find the condo save files in the userdata folder.
It turns out that there’s a Windows feature where you can see old versions of files, so I looked at the old versions of a file I had (which I knew by using Recuva) and found my condo save.
