I hung up some christmas lights in my condo, and i expected them to “hang” in a U formation just like real christmas lights do. But when i hung them up, no hanging occured. I tried going through all of the light’s settings, but no matter what i did, i couldn’t get them to hang. if anybody knows how to do this, i would greatly appreciate if you shared this knowledge with me. thank you.

Unfortunately, this isn’t something you can do currently. It was planned, but IIRC, the devs said it was difficult to optimize and would cause big drops in performance.

dam. As far as could see, the xmas lights generate in shorter pieces, so what if each piece’s border’s height would be calculated by a simple proportion?
They would appear a bit sharp on the edges, but probably still better than only a straight line
