Halloween 2026 Condo Contest

Hey everyone!

It’s time again for the Halloween Condo Contest!!

This means your submission should be Halloween themed! Feel free to go spooky, festive, horror, or whatever you like, as long as it fits the Halloween Season!

Your submission can be a regular Condo or a Workshop Game World Map.

EXTENDED: The submission period ends on October29th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT.

Be sure to look at the prizes and follow the rules below!

Prizes:

• 1st Place - 2,000,000 Units
• 2nd Place - 1,000,000 Units
• 3rd Place - 750,000 Units
• 4th Place - 500,000 Units
• 5th Place - 300,000 Units

More Info

• Participation prizes (100k) are usually rewarded to participants, along with other bonuses for close contenders
• Depending on the amount of entries, prize amounts may be raised and placements may be adjusted

Rules:

• Must be appropriate content (no hate speech, nudity, etc.)
• Only make 1 submission post
• You can update your post until the deadline
• The submission cannot be something previously submitted to a Condo Contest.
• The first place winner(s) of the last Condo Contest won’t be included in the vote, but they are eligible for the participation prize

Exceptions

• If a Condo you have submitted to a previous contest has been significantly altered, decorated, redecorated to fit the theme, or has an addition that is the main focus of your images, that is allowed.

How To Submit:

• Post at least 3 screenshots of your Condo or Game World Map as a reply to this thread.

If you can’t upload images here, use an external image hosting service such as Imgur to embed the images.

• Include your Steam ID or a link to your Steam profile

• If you want a specific picture to be the thumbnail in the community vote, label it as the featured picture

• If you are submitting a co-op entry, please say that somewhere in your post

Co-Op Submissions:

• For co-op builds, only one person should submit the entry, include all participants’ Steam IDs, and mention its a co-op build. Winnings will be divided equally and may be adjusted.

• If people want to submit different parts of a co-op build as individual entries, the areas should be distinct from one another, there shouldn’t be pictures of the same things in multiple posts, and the post should only include one Steam ID.

Voting & Results

After the deadline has passed, the submissions are judged by community voting.

I will post a link to the community vote form in a reply to this thread and in dev-updates on the TU Discord.

I will post the winner announcement in the same places.

Hey everybody, happy closing days of summer.
Hope everyone’s geared up for a coming spooky season, hopefully yours being chillier then mine.

Here’s my own Halloween Remix of House.
It’s been cooking slowly, like all good food, since last Halloween.

Starting with the main houses. All differently decorated.

And the garage? Working player piano, working arcade machine and a friendly visitor!

The neighbor’s kid is also a working npc.

Our backyard also has it’s own pumpkin patch, now a lot more visitable after we put most of the pumpkins in the garage.

with a bonfire and a private screening for the adults to stay entertained this evening.

and, of course, other assorted Halloween night details.

And that’s it!

Can previous first-place winners submit a co-build and have the co-builder(s) win more than a participation prize? I’d give all mine up if it meant my co-builder(s) had a chance of placing.

In that situation, I’d probably just have one of the other builders submit it if they’re contributing significantly. The rule as written says the previous winner’s entry won’t be included, so I’d want one of the co-op builders to submit it. And in that case, the previous first place winner will still just get the participation prize as a co-op participant / past winner.

At the bottom most floor is the Game Room with a game of chance and mini golf course!

Beyond the entrance, striped tents and a glowing Ferris wheel promised a Halloween night you’d never forget. As you stepped inside, the gate clicked shut and your ticket changed to read, “Admit Forever.”

The Blood River Bridge
Lanterns lit the old stone bridge, where skull-topped pillars watched over everyone crossing toward Carnevil. Halfway across, footsteps began echoing beneath the stones, keeping perfect pace with yours.

The Graveyard Watcher
Something stood among the headstones, tall enough to disappear into the branches. You could hear the carnival behind you, but every time you blinked, the figure came closer.

One More Turn
The little carousel creatures waited patiently beneath their crown of bones. When the music started, each rider heard a different voice whisper, “You came back.”

The Forgotten Well
The abandoned shack stood silent beside a well no one had used in years. Then the pump handle began to move, drawing up water that reflected someone standing behind you.

The Slay Ride
Take the Slay Ride for a spin and tour a haunted cemetery, if you survive that then you’re fresh meat rolling through deep, dark woods infested with werewolves and caves that reek of death and torture!

Bone Apart Hospital
Bone Apart Hospital promised to have you back on your feet before sunrise. Judging by the noises upstairs, the difficult part was finding which feet belonged to you.

Whispers in the Barn
The old barn groaned in the wind, but the slow footsteps in its hayloft kept a steady rhythm. Down below, even the cattle knew better than to look up.

A Seat with a View
From the top of the Ferris wheel, the whole Carnevil glittered beneath its giant pumpkin grin. You reached for your camera just as the empty seat beside you began to sink under someone’s weight.

Ask the Local
The skeleton at the crossroads offered a lantern and some friendly directions. You thanked him, chose your path, and heard his bones rattling along behind you.

So, while probably not as visually appealing as some other entries, I would like to enter something I’ve been working on a little bit.

My friend Luna gave me the idea of recreating this classic horror experience from the ground up, and while it’s not entirely finished, I figured it’s in a state where it’s worth posting.

Gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you…

The Tower 8.

The ultimate plan is to recreate the original Exit 8 in Tower, complete with Looping/Backtracking mechanics, randomized Anomalies, and more. While not yet entirely finished, the base visuals have been established and will be further refined.

Take a walk through our trick-or-treat hall to meet all 17- sorry, 18 members of VComfy before joining us for a questionable meal in the dining hall. Say hi to some beloved Tower characters on your way to the dance floor, or stop for a round of minigames right next to our photobooth! And don’t forget to take advantage of our quiet zone and epilepsy safe rooms!

I was wondering the same thing. It is a very nice house but it doesn’t fit the theme other than maybe there is a small graveyard? I would not consider that Halloween. This would have been better had there been some decor but I didn’t even see one pumpkin
