i dont remember saying anything offencive in global chat, i think someone missclicked and accidentally gagged me for -118 years.

I actually would like to have a message box that appears that shows the exact message or messages that caused the ban. I’ve seen several people have this happen to them with no explanation, it’s pretty frustrating.

Says on our end that you’re permanently banned, guess that’s how it shows up on the client side.

What’s the process on your end when it comes to chat bans? Is there a review process or is it automated in some way?
A few devs (Mainly Caboose and Nath iirc) take in any reports, and can read the global chat logs to see whether to act on them.

It’d probably be better to privately ask the devs. As far as I’m aware, they’ve been good about keeping records on why they give bans, and a sort of “got you” bandwagon tends to form if the reasons are publicly revealed.

Didn’t know it was possible to ban someone for negative amount of years.
This ban was a bug maybe.
