i feel like this game is deeply in need of a fan the hammer. partly inspired by bae’s tommy gun alt fire idea, i had been thinking about an alt fire idea for any pistol for a little bc i loveeeee fanning the hammer whenever it’s an option. Flintlock would be neat because outside of the magnum (which should keep zoom in) it’s the most conceptually revolver-like and it fires pretty slow so having fan the hammer as an alt option would be neat (maybe with some cooldown period after the fact? like the barrel starts glowing and it has to literally cool down or something), but with only 4 bullets the bert might actually be a better candidate. although the bert does fire ridiculously fast so maybe a better alt fire for it could be some proto-shotgun thing that shoots three bullets tightly at once with reduced damage per bullet? idk i really want there to be a way of making the bert even remotely viable because it is annoying as hell to get in arcade if it’s your only pistol/start with in arena/get snowballed with on gun game. nobody likes the bert, “what does it even do” etc. but i’m just spitballing.
