(EDIT: I was able to join again so either I got unbanned or discord was being dumb. Either way, I’m gonna keep the original message here because I think my theorizing might be helpful to some folks

I know that the ban appeal section says “There is currently no mechanism for appealing Discord bans or timeouts” but I figured I would throw my hat in the ring since I still play tower pretty regularly.
A while back, my discord (account name shooshed) was briefly hijacked and it sent a scam mr beast crypto thing in a bunch of servers and DMs. I’m assuming that is why I am banned from the tower server, but I just never noticed until I went to show off something in my condo the other day and realized it was gone and I couldn’t re-join.
The thing is, my account was never fully taken over, it just sent messages WHILE I was still on discord without me noticing. I only did take action when I saw I had over 9 pings from different people in servers. I quickly recovered everything and locked it all down, and began investigating. My current best guess is that my (old) account token was stolen from a compromised “authorized app” because I never got a notification from 2FA, meaning whatever it was had my token and sent messages from the “bot” of my account.
Long story short, I never lost full control of my account and it was pretty much out of my control, so I would like to be unbanned if possible. If not, I understand, thank you.
