Hi. In the workshop rules page there is a phrase that says : “Failure to follow these rules and/or circumventing the editor limits may result in a ban from the Steam Workshop.” Then it’s giving the limit details.
But there is an option to disable polygon limit in game settings. Contradictory part is here. So how can the devs forbid the given right in the game. I think it’s outdated. Please fix it. Thank you.
That’s because it’s referencing the rules that are right above that line.
The limits part is just a catch all for all the limits, not just the vertices.
Imma sound really stupid (mostly because this is an over 7 year post (sorry) and I can’t find anything on Google, Steam, or in-game except this post) but what is the polygon limit then when that setting is on? I’m trying to update my model to be more visually smoother and I’m close to the 30k vertice limit (without alterations) but I can’t find anything on the polygon limit.
Is it just the 30k vertice limit or is there something that we can see in regards to the polygon limit?
to my knowledge it is only limited to 30k vertices. But either way you can still upload bigger items they just won’t be usable for everyone
