[1.1.0.1] Game crashes joining plaza

The game has been crashing a lot recently when trying to join populated plazas. Most notably when trying to join a server that is almost capped out.

Steps to Reproduce

Most consistent way I’ve been able to reproduce this crash is by trying to join the plaza at 63/64 players

What I expected to happen

I expect to be able to join the plaza or be sent back to the main menu with a full server prompt

What happened

The usual joining plaza loading screen then proceeding to abruptly get sent back to the main menu. From the main menu I very briefly see the full server prompt which is then followed by an immediate game crash

This has been happneing to me for a good while now, with the same method of 63/64. Since it happened on my older PC i assumed it was just because my specs weren’t up to date, but this crash still consistently happens on my modern, upper-end PC as well.
