[1.0.0.0] Suspicious, possibly cheated high scores by a specific player on leaderboards still present on other leaderboards

1.0.0.0

on the 1.0 Steam news post, i brought attention to the Chinese player SuSu who had pretty blatantly cheated their way up to the top spot of the trivia total score leaderboard, doing so in the span of a few weeks, perhaps even just a few days, despite how long this would take in practice. it has taken top players years to gain such scores, and SuSu also did not even rank in the top 200 on the trivia wins leaderboard, which was highly improbable in conjunction with leading the total score leaderboard. appropriately, immediately after i pointed this out, developers wiped this player’s score from the trivia top total score leaderboard, leading me to believe that they saw this score as illegitimate as well.

puzzlingly though, the developers did not choose to examine any of this player’s other leaderboard high scores which were achieved around this time. i believe a cheating player should have all scores at the very least viewed with scrutiny, especially if scores were apparently achieved in around the same period of time.

i have observed that this same player SuSu is #3 on both the top total score leaderboard for bowling and the total perfect games for bowling. i believe this score is highly improbable in such a short period of time as the trivia leaderboard score was. it’s made even more unlikely given that both scores popped up around the same time as the trivia, which is probably impossible to achieve.

i believe for the integrity of the leaderboards as well as to respect the achievements of the players on the bowling leaderboards, SuSu’s bowling high scores should be viewed with scrutiny and possibly removed. additionally, any other high scores this player may hold should probably be viewed with scrutiny, and the developers may see it fit to wipe this player from the leaderboards entirely from any game since they have shown to not play with integrity.
