Summary of bug here.
This thread > How do you make the the mini golf course intro camera flythough, erm... thingy? And other stuff < discusses how to use a fixed camera when the golf ball enters and exits a mini golf pipe. In effect overriding the default camera that follows the ball along the pipe.
Unfortunatly while setting a trigger connected to a camera IO switches the view to the camera when the player’s toon enters it, this does not happen when the golf ball does. The view does switch to the camera if a ball enters the camera volume, however this is not particularlly helpful in this case, as the view will switch back to the default when the ball leaves the volume.
Steps to Reproduce
Place a golf start pad. Place a trigger in front of this. Place any item, such as a barrel.
Place a light, say the small round one.
Place a camera io facing the barrel.
Connect the trigger to the camera Io enter input.
Connect the trigger to the light toggle input.
What I expected to happen
If you play the ball the view should switch to the barrel, and the light will toggle. However while the light toggles, the view does not switch.
If you walk into the trigger then the light will toggle and the camera view will switch.
What happened
Unable to switch the camera view when the golf ball enters a trigger.
This is how I set the camera up, is is possble I have something incorrect?
