So many times have I gone to off topic and seen the dumbest threads that seem to be people just emptying their mind in an attempt to boost their post or like count in order to get regular. There needs to be some posting standards otherwise you might as well rename it to shitpost central and let people shit out posts like there’s no tomorrow.

I kinda agree actually. Off-Topic is a place where you can post your stuff which, in any other category, would be considered crap. It’s not meant to be the cancer corner of the forum.
Off topic isn’t going to change. Its purpose is pretty clearly defined - “Discuss anything not related to anything”. If you dislike off topic, then mute it.
