Earlier today I experienced the same issue I had last month with my flying turtle pets where I was unable to remove them from my hotbar. Replacing them with another pet and removing that one fixed it this time around, but this made my turtles disappear from the pets tab in my inventory.
I tried using the fix posted here a few times to see if that would fix it, and after a few fatal errors at startup and a prompt for the Steam cloud, all of my XP and most of my stats are missing. Thankfully, my milestones and trophies are still in my inventory.
Just checked in and almost everything is back, stats included.
The only thing that’s missing now is my typing derby XP. It was well over 2mil before and now it’s stuck at 7.5k, probably because I played a bit of it while the rest of my stuff was still gone. My turtles are still missing from my pet tab in the inventory, but this maybe this’ll be fixed the next time I get one from a gold.
