In my head it will look like servers where we’ll have the Plaza (like your home world in VRChat), then worlds like a “McDonalds” or whatever is most popular in the workshop.
But, im curious to know if we have or can get more information on the idea behind it - super excited for what the devs have in store!
The plan is to release Dedicated Condos in stages.
The first stage is to get the servers able to host a condo (the server host just needs to copy their Condo data to the correct file path). After that, they’ll show up on a Community Condos server list.
The second stage is to add editing support so approved players can edit the layout of the dedicated condo and spawn their own items. The dedicated condo would have its own save system.
Somewhere in the mix of those stages we have discussed other ways to help advertise those dedicated condos other than just server titles. One of the cool things about dedicated condos is that the condos are meant to always be there, so we could add a portal to dedicated condos that players can place in their own condo or other dedicated condos.
