What will happen to Workshop player models when Blender inevitably drops Collada support?

First off - I don’t know which category to throw this into, so if moderators want to move this to a more fitting category, this would be appreciated. Anyway, here’s the thing: Apparently, Blender devs plan to remove Collada support from the program somewhere around Blender 4.5 LTS or 5.0 release, due to it being severely outdated and posing safety and compatibility risks (mostly same wording per their own announcement). I’m sure this probably concerns developers and Workshop community, at least to a certain extent. Anyway, see here for the whole thing: Moving Collada I/O to Legacy Status - #23 by Alaska - Announcements - Developer Forum - Continuing on though, I have been seeing somewhere on these forums that Unreal Engine imposes some limits on working with different model formats, which might be part of the reason for player models only accepting Collada .dae format - So my only question is, what will happen to Workshop player model support in the game after that? Are there plans to remake the tutorials and documentation for modders to use other modelling software that might continue to support Collada format? Maybe something else is planned, like some sort of major work to support other model formats for player models, if even technically possible? I don’t imagine it’s going to be a problem for Tower Unite itself to keep Collada (.dae) support in, but modding community might have more of a problem on the side of the tools, so not exactly sure what will happen with custom player models, as only these will be impacted the most. I think this is something that should be discussed internally or within the community, just in case if PixelTail team wasn’t already aware of this.
