I doubt you can completely abandon Windows as a Gamer anytime soon. I personally hope that when the time comes, I’ll be rich enough to afford multiple GPUs and be confident enough in my Linux skills to run a Windows VM for everything that just won’t come to Linux and have a GPU to pass through to it like @anon68632391.
