I am trying to upload static mesh to the workshop but I get texture error this must have changed in the new workshop update how should I upload textures
and my model does not have normals or other mappings
before the new update, I could assign textures to my workshop items without even changing the name and the game detected it without doing anything, now it just gives an error.
That should work, unless something weirder is going on. The material name should be something simple like “texture” and the image files should be something like “texture_diffuse”. like so. Make sure the image textures are in the same directory you’re importing the .dae from.
Make sure it was already like this at the beginning, the above images were to check if the game works with any custom names and it was all in one directory and one file I’ll try to port it again in a bit, but I’ve seen and tried really different game engines, but I’ve never had the problems I’ve had with this game in any game or engine

Note To Workshop Creators:
Static models (items, accelerate vehicles) currently cannot be imported with the new workshop SDK at this time. We are working to resolve this. Models that are already imported will load in the workshop editor, however.
