Hello there! I’m pretty new to using the forums, I don’t suggest much, so I apologize in advance if I’ve posted this incorrectly. I’ve played a lot of Dark Voyage, enough to understand the ins and outs, where all the targets are, the point values for everything, secret strats, you get the idea.
The highest score I can get solo is around 11,500 points, I think I could push that a little bit further into 12k with a bit more practice in a few areas, but I feel confident in saying 12k is pushing the maximum possible score for this ride. Currently, the leaderboard shows highest scores of 17k and 15k. I reached out to one of these folks and they confirmed that this score was obtained during Dark Voyage’s earlier release, there was a bug that caused the ride to just stop, meaning you could shoot unbreakables like Werewolves and Bells for a lot longer than intended, giving them high scores that aren’t reachable in any capacity without that bug.
I’d like to mention the idea of Weekly Resets to the Dark Voyage leaderboard, similarly to the Arcade. As a big fan of the ride, it can be a little demotivating as a leaderboard-guy to know that the current leaderboard isn’t possible to climb after a certain threshold.
