Hello everyone, and welcome to the Weekly Dev Log for July 10th, 2023, detailing all the changes that have happened since June 26th, 2023. Note: Devs that don’t appear in the weekly log are not necessarily away or not doing work, but may be working on things currently not announced or backend work that doesn’t need to be detailed.

June/July 2023 Condo Contest (Aquarium) - ONGOING

Hey everyone!

For June and July the theme for the Condo Contest will be Aquarium!

Your goal will be to build an aquarium (or any other sort of fish habitat), and you can use whatever you would like to do so. Remember that Aquarium Volumes can be purchased at D.I.Y.!

The submission period ends on July 10th, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Be sure to look at the prizes and follow the rules below!

And don’t forget: You can upload your entry to the Steam Workshop for everyone to get a better look at it! If you upload your entry to Workshop, you’re welcome to share the link in your post! :slight_smile:

@macdguy finished various weapons and super weapons, as well as other QOL changes that came up during testing.

WOW I am so excited for all of this to come out. I hope to get those holograms for the condos, they would make nice décor. I cant wait for the Grav Glove, it looks so much fun! Thank you for more textures!!


The Soul Camera printed photo should have the victim’s profile picture on it


holy hell, sdnl’s weapons are SO much more entertaining than i was even anticipating
the trail of the RIQOCHETING crossbow bolts. the PROPEL of the tele-puncher, and the little WHACK textures with the overall look of the weapon itself. THE GRAV GLOVE, BEING ABLE TO PICK UP EVEN PROJECTILES. the instant soul camera, which btw i appreciate the realism of the photo not being instantly developed lmao. the projectiles and trails of the plasma gun, and the kinda recoil-or-whatever-the-word-is where you look upperwards as you shoot it.
this is actually so phoenominal. i would love to have these as milestone unlockables sometime. and also it’s huge inspiration for my own work, lmao. so movement-based.

also the UI reminds me of the snowball cannon minigame, which i really like. shield looks phoenominal, and the holograms are really pretty. always down for some dual wielding, too ^w^

Will super weapons be map-specific or randomized?

Randomized when you pick them up.


fucking awesome. I wonder now, how they are planned to appear in Arena maps? Is it similar to the Snowball Cannon, where it spawns at the apex of the map?
