I think TU and Identity are trying to focus on very different things. Identity seems like its trying to be a serious life simulation, while TU is just trying to be a fun game that anyone can play and get in to without having to worry about PvP.
They plan on expanding the ocean so you can hunt for treasure and do some other things on different islands, and I really like the idea of being able to paint a picture on a canvas in game, but for now, the devs of TU are more focused on getting the game to a functioning, feature complete state
I understand what you’re trying to say here, but in my opinion, I’d let them do what they’re doing. IDENTITY may have a bigger world and more opportunities, but it’s much different than Tower Unite in many ways. Tower Unite is unique and has the Plaza, Gameworlds, and Condo, and you can’t find them anywhere else. Both games may be fun, but you wont have the same kind of fun, if that makes sense.
If you want to play a game like IDENTITY, play that. If you want to play a game like Tower Unite, play that.
me and my club penguin serious rp group are gonna find where you live and ddos your house
But in a sense, I do get what OP is getting at, tower has always felt a little bit… fenced for me. Like, we’re free to do anything we want, as long as it fits within the game’s limitations. And don’t get me wrong, there’s some people that go and do that, and do it very well, like @AshGe and @JesusFreak. But if you’re like me and want to be creative in an entirely different way (Go and explore the mountains in the distance, die on the top of the tower, pretty much anything to do with general exploration), there’s lots of boundaries and ‘fences’ that the game has set in place.
That being said, if everything and anything was more “crowded” or “busy” like a small town or something, there would be a lot to look at and do, and my exploration itch would be satisfied.
At the same time, I could argue that something like a town or open world doesn’t fit into the scope of the game, because I could easily boot up one of the many, many open world games in my steam library and have that itch pretty much satisfied.
Ok, that’s all this needed to say… just a bit more exploration in the game? There’s no denying that Identity’s colouring and customisation options are similar to what Tower is offering… and I’d love to see more and more options for customisation options in Tower.
As was said though, perhaps a full plaza or town area would fill most exploration desires this game gives. I don’t want to feel that ‘fenced in’ as @Cakemagic has also felt. In time maybe this will sort itself out.
