VR-support

basic VR-support like in VRchat. Cant rlly imagine with worldgames, but in Plaza or Condo it will be cool experience

This has been suggested plenty of times before, and as far as I know, won’t be happening. I believe the devs have said that, at this point, the game would basically have to be built from the ground up specifically to support VR.

Alternatively, somehow port your condo or the Plaza map through Unity into VRChat.

I dunno. It would be fun but limited. There’s no good way of doing minigolf in VR

I’m sure there’s a way. Maybe have it so you just look around with the headset, and swing/flick the controller for putt power, kinda like the wii.

It kinda sounds janky. It wouldn’t be precise enough. If it would work, I am kinda for this idea. But as I said, it would be limited. The plaza, for the most part, would be fine but for minigames, the motion sickness would be mad.

Well, no doubt it wouldn’t be terribly accurate. But it’s just an idea. I guess if someone wanted to give it a shot, VRChat now has Udon, so maybe that’d help someone work out a reliable system in that game for minigolf.

I think VR should only work outside minigames. It could give VR players dis/advantages and it would totally change how the game works. Minigames are designed to be played in a specific way. They can’t make Zombie Massacre a VR first person game because it was not meant to be played like that.

The only way I could see VR getting implemented non-intrusively would be to have it solely for the condo only, like a headset item you interact with and it puts you in VR-mode

It’ll probably never happen for anywhere beyond that, if it’s ever implemented. Otherwise I’d think the third-party VR programs that forces games into VR would be sufficient for now
