If you are timed out or become AFK, you’ll get hit with a triple bogey, which is fine. However, if you’ve taken par+3 shots or more, you can wait until you’re timed out and you’ll just end up with that score. I suggest that the score should automatically be +3 higher than the amount of shots you’ve taken, unless you’re below par, in which case a triple bogey is suitable (up to a max of 15, since that is the highest score you can get on any hole.)
I completely agree with this. It removes any possibility for abuse while still punishing anyone who goes AFK.
