Just something I noticed a moment ago; didn’t trees in condos used to sway in the wind? I realized that every tree in my condo is completely static and now I’m wondering if I’m misremembering.

Could be both. But you’re not alone.
I notice the some Condos, like Resort and House do have animations. Suites have them too, but I spot one tree that does not.
Smooth Autumn does not have tree animations at all.
I think it depends which tree type that will have animations.
Purchase trees sadly never have it I think.
I double check before I replied just to be sure.
