Currently in Tower Unite, the only two ways to group objects/items together is using shift + click. This is tedious and often leads to accidental misclicking. The second method involves holding Q and dragging the mouse, but sometimes it’s hard to know which items are selected. The other con is that pressing ‘space’ causes an entire group to deselect.
An alternative method could utilize the Tower Glove instead. Have it work similarly to “Copycat” and “Stasher”, where users only have to point and click (Or drag, without holding Q). Left-click select, right-click deselect.
Bonus points if it shows the last grouped object and/or makes the purple outline more obvious.
YES! I love this!!! Sometimes it’s hard to see the purple highlight. If items were highlighted inside a box (or if the purple highlight color was changeable) it would make things much easier.
I do like the idea but could it be an additional, third option to the already existing 2 for those that might prefer them? Also, the current methods for grouping if they were to stay could generally just, you know, also receive your suggested improvements as well - Edited that in as I forgot to add that in my original response initially.
On an unrelated note, I see limited votes problem has been finally fixed so I can vote again. Did everyone else already get the fix as well?
