Now. I know a lot of people have probably said this before But the Casino is free units. So What do you do in Tower unite. You play games shop And interact with other players, Which is what the game or Pixeltail as I should say, Want you to do. And the casino throws away all of that. So Let’s say this, A new player joins the game, The first thing they do is play a game. They get units and after that they go to the Casino, Even though they only had 2k units they come out with 10k in the end. That is BAD, Almost every player does this you have this nice big plaza to run around in, And you pretty much just put a big sign next to the Casino that says FREE UNITS. So the player slowly starts to stop playing virus mini golf etc. And then they just spend all their time in the Casino. Some new game mode comes out every one plays it for a day then, They go back to the Casino. The Long and short of it is DRASTICALLY Lower the chance of getting anything from the slots or double or nothing. Now this may never happen but the more and more content the dev team pushes out, the worse it’s gonna get, Eventually there’s gonna be this full game and every body is still spending all their time in the Casino. Please give me feedback on this I want to see what the community thinks about this.
If you want to know what the community thinks then you should use the search function and look at the numerous topics that have been made about this. Personally i’m getting a bit pissed off with people complaining about how other players want to spend their time playing the game. Forcing people away from the casino won’t make players more likely to play the game modes you like. That makes no sense at all. More features means less people going to the casino. The servers reach the limit of 64 players on some days already, so i doubt the whole server is going to play at the casino when there’s more things to do in the plaza.
Most of the time when I boot up Tower Unite or booted up Gmod Tower it was to be comfy and do something in the plaza or condo for a while, and I savor the gamemodes for when I have a group of good people to play with, which isn’t often due to scheduling and timezones.
The gamemodes are genuinely fantastic and a rush to play, but if we were forced to play them to progress our condo building people would get sick of them and leave the game for good. The fact that the casino is just as viable as gamemodes to earn credits in is nothing but a good thing.
Sometimes people aren’t in the mood for a rush of adrenaline from virus (no pun intended) every time they wanna earn credits. Sometimes we wanna just sit down for a few hours at double or nothing, video poker, or a slot machine to kill time and listen to a podcast or something while also productively earning units. Leave us alone, please. We’re not harming you.

are you talking about? It’s already gambling, you spend credits (1 credit - 15 units) to have a CHANCE for a prize.
Pro tip: the only option that takes out money from jackpot is winning jackpot, if you win for example triple cherries, you get 150 credits if you’ve bet 5 credits on it PLUS it doesn’t decrease the jackpot, look on your wallet when using Grand Quest or TD for long time vs jackpot.

It’s actually more like saying " I don’t like Little Crusaders, therefor i think the payouts should be lowered, in hopes of less people playing it and playing the gamemodes i like"

I get so triggered each time it gets reposted. So, without further ado,
Stop complaining about people having fun in activities you don’t personally enjoy. If people like the casino, you shouldn’t punish them for that. There’s no “right” way of playing Tower Unite. The reason why you see so many people at the casino is because IT’S THE ONLY LONG-TERM LOBBY ACTIVITY and because people genuinelly enjoy it.
Just wait for fishing. You will see lots of people fishing at the docks.

OP brings up a good point though, casino is just free money. There’s next to no risk, if you play in the casino you will profit 99% of the time.
The Casino is an activity. If people want to play the games there, that’s up to them.
The Game Worlds have 100% pay and no risk and are Unit generators.
The idea is that if you are playing a game and spending the time doing that, you will get Units.
I guess the difference is with the game worlds you’re not gonna randomly be awarded with a million units if you’re crazy lucky.
Gameworlds = consistent money
Casino = risky money and inconsistent money, big spikes of money and small unlucky streaks of money
I feel like the casino doesn’t have enough (or any) risk or inconsistency though, if it actually was inconsistent then it’d be an improvement but mac’s saying it should just be if you’re spending time doing something you’re earning units for it
Maybe your just not playing them long enough to see some inconsistencies. I’ll admit that Grand Quest is basically guaranteed units, but plenty of times i’ve spent hours on Triple diamonds or WoM only to profit nothing and break even. If you just look at the in-game chat on a server it’s either someone saying. “Casino is rigged it’s bullshit, I’ve won nothing” or someone saying “Casino is free money i had 3k, now i have 10k” showing that there’s clearly inconsistencies to winning. Maybe you’re just really lucky.
I think he means that the casino is hard to come out with less units than when you went in with. Giving that feeling that there’s no risk of just popping in throwing 10,000 units at a machine and losing it all.
Through my time on playing the casino I’ve played 10 minutes up to 3 hours at a time of casino, and never left with less than when I went in. You have to be incredibly unlucky to come out of the casino with less units.
Well i guess you can call me incredibly unlucky. Plenty of times i’ve gone into the casino and actually lost money. I’ve put 20k into double or nothing and not got the money back and like i already said, i’ve spent hours on a machine only to break even giving me a profit of ZERO. Just because your experience has been lots of wins doesn’t mean that is everyone’s experience, that’s the thing about RNG, I’ve happened to spend enough time on this game in the casino to know that a lot of people go in with something and leave with nothing. People who don’t have at least 10k can lose it all because a lot of the time you need to spend a lot to start making it back, then profit.
The thing about the casino is it’s something you can just go do and zone out too or watch TV while you play. The slots work as a fairly passive form of income but it’s not particularly exciting or fun outside of getting big jackpots so you burn out quickly. It’s a good activity to do on a second monitor but if you want to have fun with friends then all the other activities offer a more enjoyable time. The game is only as much of a grind as you make it. Recently I’ve been playing lots of bowling for fun and at the end of a session I’m like holy shit I’m up like 20-30k. Not as much as I’d get staring at a slot machine but it didn’t feel like a waste of time either. Having a variety of fun ways to make money is a really good feature. Maybe we’ll see some higher stakes gambling in the future for people who are into that but the current casino machines are all fine as far as I can tell.
