When i play videos on the media player with a direct link (Which isn’t
from youtube) anyone that activates the media player will start the
video from 00:00 for them instead of synching it to the time im at.
My suggestion is that we make it so if anyone activates the media player
after the video has started playing it will automatically sync to the
correct time.
End message
Im guessing it’s because the website dont sync the clients to the exact same time, logically because it hasn’t been programmed to do so.
Yes that if why i am suggesting it
I could barely understand what your saying, as it was kinda chopped up.
Anyway to put what you said into a more understandable suggestion for everyone else.

There will be one problem with this though, you might need to talk to the people that host the site where you got the link about it since im pretty sure it would have to be the ones that is providing the videos that will have to program said feature.
Well unless pixeltail could do it without any issues.
Ill just use this if its ok. is it ok?
This probably won’t happen due to the way we do client syncing. Syncing a time code on a service with an API like YouTube and Soundcloud doesn’t scale well with random website whose format you know nothing about.
Would it be possible to just do it with MP4s/webms/MP3s though?
Ya that’s the link from their server, i dont expect it to work,
You could try the link in the top of your page.
If im not wrong the media player in gmtower could play mp3s so if we are lucky the media player will support these further down the line.
?
You know its hip.
The link does work.
The one in the top of the browser or the HTML editor?
The one in the HTML editor. You can copy it and paste it into the url if you want to. Its even as big as it can be.
Not sure if this would break any rules, but I’d just remove the link to an illegal movie upload… to be safe.
