there’s a bug in mini golf where when you stop you can vibrate slightly but just enough for the game to determine you’re still moving sometimes it lasts so long that it skips your turn

This is one of the earliest known and most reported bugs. It happens as a result of the host having a low FPS, which causes some shenanigans with physics. The devs are actually trying to switch up how physics are calculated in order to (hopefully) fix the bug:
