Static item appears inverted on imported .dae

as stated in the title of this post, after following the procedure for uploading/importing static items for use in tower unite, my model appears this way:

in blender, the setup for the two material slots on the object, including a diffuse texture and a normal map texture, should be set up correctly and appear this way:

i am not exactly sure if i am somehow missing a step or missed information regarding item importing, or maybe this is a current bug! i have seen a couple posts about the missing texture bug, but i am currently using the correct naming conventions for the texture files, as well as making sure all files are together in one folder when exporting the .dae file. as you can see from my TU screenshot, the textures are there and reacting to the light with the normal map, but appear as if the front faces are being culled or something to that effect! i also made sure that the normals are facing the correct way and are being culled correctly in blender

This is a known issue with the current importer as the SDK was completely updated. The next update resolves this.
