Right, so I signed in today and did a few things on the spin to win. I rolled an actual pile of gold and noticed that it wasn’t in either my steam inventory or my in game inventory. I asked around and it seems I’m not the only one with the issue. A few bystanders also spun the same wheel and it didn’t give away any prizes to them either.
I just want my gold ;-;
Have you tried closing the game, restarting steam, and booting the game up again?
Alternatively, try restarting your computer as well.
Just did both, to no avail. Are the steam cloud servers down right now? I’m trying to upload a screenshot of the wheel when I won but I get a steam cloud unavailable issue.
That could be the problem at the moment. If Steam does something screwy, then the game is gonna have a hard time doing what it’s suppose to be doing.
I’ll give it some time. Whenever the screenshot uploads I’ll also post it here.
Sorry if it sounds like I’m being a greedy magpie but that’s legit the first time I’ve ever spun gold in that thing in my entire time playing GMT.
If it fails the come through in the end is there somewhere I can post/go to somehow get it?
It appears that according to SteamStatus the Steam Inventory Server is delayed so it might take a bit for it to propagate.
Pile of based gold just came thru. Must have been the inventory servers were down? Either way! Problem solved.
