An issue I with sound emitters is that it is pretty hard to make a large area have ambient sound. It’s usually very obvious to tell where the sound emitter is with stereo audio.
What I’m suggesting is a tick box in the edit of sound emitters that would, upon entering the emitters radius, would play the sound equally around the player, as if it had no clear origin.
This would really help with making more immersive and ambient condos.
Necroing this thread because I was about to suggested the same thing now. The expansion of SFX with workshop sounds has only emphasized the need as people add their own ambience and music.
There’s an “infinite range” option, but unfortunately still very obviously broadcasts from an origin location when moving your camera (Not sure if this is intentional or a bug.)
