Add an extra field in the weapon pickups window next to weapon category so we can individually place each existing weapon spawns.

honestly not having the ability to choose weapons makes it SO hard to balance maps.
“Ranged” includes garbage like the crossbow, but also pretty good weapons like the sniper rifle.
it also makes it difficult to theme your maps. your gritty sci fi map has people with pirate cannons and toy hammers, your silly cartoon map has people blasting dual uzi’s and spas-12s. it just irks me.
EDIT: I forgot to include the fact that it makes it impossible to place weapons to exploit their unique mechanics. the super shotty allows extra mobility, a feature no other shotgun has, which means that you cant make a map revolved around that extra mobility. you basically have to balance your map for ALL weapons, which is kinda antithetical to the arena shooter roots of SDNL. If a gun was too powerful on a map, you could just not have it spawn on that map.
“Inclusive” map design = homogenous map design.
