Same media volume smooth transition

Hey, Im sorry if the title is weird, Im not sure how to word it so shortly. In one of my condos, I have a dance floor and dj booth set up to about 20+ media volumes. While they all connect fine and work individually fine I find that when you are walking between the two volumes next to each other, one cancels out the other. I was wondering if it would be possible to make media volumes that are hooked up to the same media player, play the music continually when walking through those volumes? The reason I dont do one big volume over my whole condo is because I want to have some rooms have no music and some hooked up to their own media player for that room.

I hope my question suggestion was articulated well enough to understand. I will attach a few pictures so show you what I mean. Thanks for your time!

Correct me if I’m wrong but if they overwrite each other like that, can’t you just make a big media volume and then make those few rooms have their own?

I could, but i still want a few rooms with no music at all. So it wouldn’t work :frowning:

Can’t you just have it queue a silent video? Just trying to help with workarounds

I dont think that would help my situation, but i do appreciate your brainstorming. Ive been trying different ideas out too

you want a silent room right? wouldn’t making a media volume hooked up to a silent video accomplish that because it would overwrite the other volume?

No, thats not what i want

What did you mean then?

What i typed in my body of the suggestion. I want the media volumes to continue to flow if they are all hooked to the same player. Having another volume in the volume doesnt work, ive tried

Wait.. actually… you mingt be right.i have to do some testing. Ive done it before and it didnt work, but i think i might know a way

was basically saying to make your main volume encompass the whole condo, then make smaller ones inside with either silence or whatever other music you wanted to play.

Yeah i was confused for some reason, but you are probably right and thats the way to go. Unfortunately i wont be home until late, so it will be a bit before i can try. Thanks for the help, i appreciate you and your time
