It’d be nice if there were some romance options, basic stuff like hugging, kissing, cuddle when sitting on a couch.
I know it’s not the focus of the game, it doesn’t need to be very elaborate or anything like a marriage system or something, just a few little things. My girlfriend really likes the game and she’s into that kinda cute stuff :3
While this would be cool for couples and a certain group of people, I could also see this being abused or just spammed to the point were it get’s annoying. Although it’s not up to me, I could only see hugging and cuddling being a part of the game not kissing.
I could see hugging, but anything like kissing or cuddling kinda gives me the chills.
I don’t wanna see any 7 year olds running around the casino asking people to be their sweetheart.
“Hey babe, how about we go cuddle on that couch over there??”
That’s like people dating in Roblox if you have ever played that, it’s meant to be a fun game for all ages but people bring things like that into the game.

There was a Disney game called Toontown I played which had a server full of players that just asked each other out. Children scare me.

I remember kids pretending to date over roblox, those were the days. My best encounter with those was some jazz club place where some 12 year old kid dumped his girlfriend because he found out she was some 9 year old boy. Good times.
As much as I’d be down for this in TU, it would attract the Second Life crowd. And even if it didn’t, even more people would be comparing it to Second Life.
There will be player emotes https://trello.com/c/LF4zrMOT/170-player-emote-system. But once you get around implementing those, pleease don’t add romance options ok? If you do that you have to lower the price of the dakimakura to 1 Unit!

please do not implement this, i don’t need to be constantly reminded about me being alone… (i am not kidding, it’s things like this that annoy me) not to mention it could be easily abused.
ye I can relate to that. For some it’s a joke but sometimes it hurts you aswell.
Not sure how something as simple as hugging could be abused. Just make emotes that require a partner work like taunts in TF2 (player selects the hug emote and stands with open arms/has notification, and players can choose if they wish to go towards the player and do the same emote).
could be used as a form of spam, or harassment to others.
by harassment, i mean constantly kissing someone that tells you to stop, hugging would be fine though.
what about the portal 2 hug taunts, something like that

My thought is that you wouldn’t be able to spam this though, both players would have to do the emote together or nothing is going to happen.
