I’d like to see a toggle that allows you to resize objects (specifically canvas objects) in one direction rather than both at the same time. This is something that is possible in most popular game engines and would make fine tuning in condos a lot easier.
You are able to do this already with the gizmos.
Click on the item with left click and you will see the gizmos. At the top right of the screen you will see options to resize the item on X, Y, or Z.
I am aware of gizmos, but they don’t really behave the way I’d like them to.
Here’s a GIF of how resizing works in a game like Roblox:
I’m able to resize the object in every direction without any fuss or need to move the object after resizing.
Compare that to how resizing with gizmos works:

I understand what you mean by that type of resize. That would be very useful for building.

Certain items actually do work like this, but not in the gizmo as far as I’m aware.
Incredibly useful. This is a feature I’ve talked about with a lot of other Builders on TU and it’s definitely high on the wishlist for most! Would love it to be at least considered for a future update

Yes this would be so helpful to let us resize canvases, etc only on one side each would so help us out and would be much easier and even faster for us to build our condo . Please make this a reality! I had to stop building my condo because we don’t have this feature. I had to keep checking both sides making sure they lined up which was a pain to do espically when you have to travel to both ends to check. It would be so much easier if only one side got longer that we were working on instead of both sides going larger at the same time. I hope and wish they would do this in the next update.

I think this would be an amazing feature to add for TU condo building, and something I’ve ranted about to my friends quite a bit.
As of right now, I find more complex condo construction to be very tedious, often times leading me to not wanting to work on my condo simply because I don’t want to spend most of my time sizing and then translating, then sizing again, only to see that a part of it is clipping or not lining up.
I think adding this would open up more accessible complex condo building, and also speed up the process of building in condos by a lot. I would absolutely LOVE for this to be added to TU, been wanting it for so long.

Dear god please let this be a feature, It would make condo “grey-boxing” much less tedious. Perhaps also keep the ability to scale via center too and make it a switch thing, so we can go back and forth between the two?
