Please let use just assign text to them instead of reading the video title (which in a lot of cases in condos that would use these just show HTML 5).
Alternatively: Just allow us to set a custom title on the media players? Won’t help for playlists, but better than nothing.
Assigning a custom display title per media player is actually much easier than updating the playlists themselves (their data is populated from a metadata system from YouTube).

Secondly, allowing us to just set text on the ticker opens the item up to being used in more scenarios than just attached to a screen.
Pretty sure I told you that Text Tickers were already planned as a separate item, but I simply didn’t have time before the Holidays Event deadline to make it. They’re coming in the next content update.
