Rejected Questions Thread

No one has ever made a thread about their rejected questions on Open Trivia DB, so I decided to make one for the general topic for everyone who got their questions rejected.

Here’s my first rejected question to start a new thread:
My question about Leshawna’s elimination from the Total Drama series (ID 7033) got rejected because it was too “niche”.

Pixeltail developers would respond to your reply and giving you a reason why your question got rejected.

DO NOT SHARE A SCREENSHOT OF ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS BEING REJECTED FROM OPEN TRIVIA DB, YOU MUST TYPE YOUR REJECTED QUESTIONS IN TEXT WITH A QUESTION ID, ALONG WITH A REJECTION REASON AND WHY YOUR QUESTION GOT REJECTED.
I WILL GIVE YOU A REJECTED QUESTION TEMPLATE BELOW, FEEL FREE TO USE IT AT ANYTIME

Question: Which country has the iconic tricolor flag?
Rejection Reason: Unclear
Comment: This question is all about the France flag during the French Revolution, so why it got rejected for being unclear to the blue white and red flag?

Question: Who is the creator of Oggy and the Cockroaches?
Rejection Reason: n/a
Comment: My proper answer to my question was Jean-Yves Raimbaud, the creator of the famous blue cat that started it all. Why my question got rejected for no reason?

Question: In what year when virgins cry blood in Canada?
Rejection Reason: n/a
Comment: I’m too lazy to make a proper question and answer that involves strange phenomenon at the church in Quebec back in 1986. But after watching Musimax’s TV series, Génération 80 in the 1986 episode, I finally realized the true answer to my “lazy catholic church” question is someone applied pork’s blood on the Virgin Mary and other statues. Why is my question got rejected for no reason? Should my question be rejected for being too focused on religious topic?

You do know that there’s dozens of tricolor flags, right?

Just responding to all of these in one post to not bog things up. I’m not Pixeltail or trying to drag you for anything, but I’ll offer my own thoughts and suggestions since you’re asking for them.

The ‘Tricolor Flag’ question is pretty much what Cobalt said. There’s so many tricolor flags out there - Germany, Russia, Ireland, Italy, etc. etc. France is one of them, but it’s not the only one.

The ‘Oggy and the Cockroaches’ question is correct. Also not sure why it got rejected and I don’t want to speculate on it.

The ‘virgins crying blood’ question seems to have gotten rejected not for being religious and instead because it seems to be unheard of outside of French Canada. I tried looking up what you mentioned in your post and lists of reported weeping statues but all I could find was this website making fun of a hoax report in 1986: Another Catholic Hoax! Maybe you have other sources online that could point to the one you’re talking about since I don’t know if this is it or not.

No, I never checked all world flags that have tricolors before making this question: How many world flags that has tricolors?

Lazy brain… :brain: :sad_but_relieved_face:

Depending on your leniency of what a tricolor flag is it’s different, but it’s easily over 8.

I was about to make a new one while using Gemini, but it doesn’t give me a proper answer for “how many world flags has tricolors?”.

Sorry If I give up making a new question very quickly.
